Technical tour- North-South line excursion
On Thursday 3 April we visited the renowned North/South Line. This enormous project will provide Amsterdam with a new metro link and complete the city’s public transport network. It is employing both tried and tested and innovative technologies never previously used in an urban environment. The construction of the new metro line was explained over the course of a 1.5-hour afternoon programme at Amsterdam Central Station.
